Megan L. Brooks

Megan is an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota. She graduated from Hamline University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law.

Megan enjoys helping people and recognizes that many major life events often involve the law in some way. That is why she focuses her practice in criminal, family, estate planning, small business, and real estate. No matter the issue, Megan fights hard for her clients and their needs.

Megan has experience in both a public defender’s and a prosecutor’s office, giving her unique and more complete insight into the criminal justice system. Not only that, but Megan worked as a paralegal for several years in a mid-size firm that practices in the areas of estate planning and real estate transactions. Since beginning private practice Megan has also worked with small businesses to create employee manuals, collect on small to large outstanding debts, and revamp invoicing practices.  She brings those years of experience and the network she has established with her into her practice.

Our Commitment

Your Life

In a world of cookie-cutter advice and pre-planned sales pitches, we wanted to offer something more unique. We know that everybody is different. Every person has his or her own family, history, and personality. Every organization has its own mission, vision, and values. And your legal representation should reflect that.

Our attorneys offer a wide range of practice areas and legal know-how. That experience and knowledge combined with their care and dedication allows us to be a firm that truly represents you. At MLBrooks Law, you are more than just another file and our quality representation reflects that as we work tirelessly to get you results.

Your Budget

Dying are the days of the rigid fee that most people can’t afford and the forced choice of bankrupting yourself to get the legal help you need or trying to navigate the law on your own when you don’t have the time or the resources. You deserve help that you can afford. That is why we look at where you live and work, what you earn, and your specific situation to determine our fee.

But what if you are out of work or can’t afford any fee? Then we are committed to helping you take advantage of the organizations that provide free legal services or seeing if you qualify for our own pro bono program.

Your Time

Since we are dedicated to getting to know you and want you to put your hard-earned money toward actual results, we provide a free half-hour consultation for all new and prospective clients. And we make it as convenient as possible for you. So if you think you may need legal assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us today.
